And then these incentives can undermine the good intentions that got the ball rolling, so to speak. We see the effects of this today with government farm subsidies. These came about during The Great Depression in the 1930s. Farmers were plagued with damaging surpluses because no one had money to buy the crops. This caused agricultural prices to crash to the extent that it could have endangered the nation’s food supply if it bankrupted every farmer. So as an interim solution, the government created a program to pay farmers NOT to grow crops. The only problem is, what was meant to be a temporary stopgap turned into a chronic entitlement, with no end in sight, even though it’s been nearly a century since they started. Children who do like to be active, have tons of sports…and other activities to keep them going 24/7, such as amusement parks or activity centers with cycling, climbing, swimming, the list goes on. What about all the children who don’t like any of this? The ones who probably would have loved to be more practical with hands-on tasks, getting mucky and dirty, splashing about for no other reason than to be doing it? How do we find things for them to do in today’s world?” What is Creator’s perspective?ClosedNicola asked 1 year ago • Problems in Society173 views0 answers0 votesA viewer asks: “In light of Creator’s information that hydroponic gardens, which are devoid of novel life forms using tap or filtered water, are inferior to gardens grown with connection to the earth in soil and exposed to sunlight, could we do something as simple as adding lemon juice to the hydroponic water to add some of the life forms without any detrimental effects to the plants? Can Creator give some advice on how to enhance the hydroponic system to make the plants more beneficial for human consumption, if it’s possible?”ClosedNicola asked 2 years ago • Divine Guidance185 views0 answers0 votesA viewer asks: “Although they’re said to have higher nutrient content, I wonder about benefits and risks of vertical farms that are deemed the future. Do fruits and vegetables produced indoors in the more modern hydroponic, aeroponic and vertical farm systems have the same, or even more nutrition, as touted by many companies by customizing nutrient solution, water, CO2, and LED color and exposure levels and time?”ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Divine Guidance301 views0 answers0 votesA viewer asks: “Does food grown using hydroponic, aeroponic, and vertical farm systems contain the novel life forms like traditionally grown soil and natural water introduce?”ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Divine Guidance276 views0 answers0 votesA viewer asks: “What is Creator’s opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of hydroponic, aeroponic, and vertical farm systems that are touted as sustainably feeding the future world with less land, water, and pollution?”ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Divine Guidance274 views0 answers0 votes
