A news report said: “San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw’s leg gave out at the most devastating of moments. The Niners had just punted the ball back to the Chiefs before Greenlaw and his defensive teammates were about to go back on the field.” He reportedly had suffered Achilles tendonitis during recent games, but is that really a normal vulnerability, to have the Achilles tendon just give way, “without contact and at the most inopportune of times?” Is there anything sinister about this?
