The desire to be rid of all emotion can only have its genesis in deep trauma—trauma so deep and pronounced that even love is suspect and untrusted to the extent it is thought best to dispense with it altogether. Obviously, this is a trap, and while Vulcans are depicted as good and generous, we know lovelessness can only lead to depravity. So as appealing to logic as this logic may seem, the abandonment of love can only be regarded as the highest of follies and the gravest of errors. What is Creator’s perspective?

A viewer writes: “My dog is 10 years old. I’m soon to be homeless and can’t take her with me. I’ve tried shelters who will take her temporarily, but she’s dog aggressive and can’t be taken in. If I take her to the pound, I have to pay $60 to surrender her and she will be put down due to her aggressiveness with other animals. No-kill shelters can’t take her either because she still needs to interact with other animals on the property and she can’t handle being with other animals. I can lie and say she bit someone and pay the vet to put her down, but that’s even more money. What does Creator think about this? He loves my dog as much as I do. What karma will I attract? Although Eddy Galland was the twin who committed suicide, one of the others had a brush with the law that was dismissed on a technicality, and all three were reported to have had psychiatric issues over the years. Was there a common theme here as well, due to past karma, or a consequence of trauma from their early separation from one another?
