A practitioner asks: “Many people can create a metaphor to represent experience of physical pain, illnesses or other upset. Presumably anyone can invite metaphors to come into consciousness for any aspects of life – health, wisdom, relationships, etc., from their intuition or imagination. To what extent though can the conscious mind alter the metaphor to achieve a significant healing benefit?
