How Do You Go from a Victim to a Victor?

When life is full of troubles, and nothing seems to work. . .

Do you act or do you suffer?

Well, it isn’t always in black-and-white. We won’t go the damned Ted Talk wishy-washy route here and tell you that you should always have some sort of productive mode on and always “step on it.” No, that’s only good for fiction or fancy speeches. Real life can be a whole lot different. In some situations, you might not have any power at all.

It’s like saying poor people are poor because they don’t work hard enough. Would you also tell a person in one of the Nazi concentration camps that they’re being gassed because they didn’t try hard enough to escape?

It isn’t always that simple. The choice to act or suffer is also rooted in power.

But in the cases in which you do have power, you need to act.

Consider Your Options

The only person who can counter your victim mentality is you yourself. If your situation gives you power—such as when you’re unhappy in your current job or having issues in your relationship—you do have the ability to act, and in all situations, you have the power to ask for help.

And when we say you have, in all situations, the power to ask for help, who do you go to? Who do you ask for help?

You ask the one source that can do and undo all—you ditch the derogatory and reach out to the divine.

Who Do You Reach Out to?

If you think that your situation, whatever it may be, is helpless, don’t worry. Maybe your house is haunted. Maybe you think you’re slowly being possessed. Maybe you keep seeing the same dream and are convinced that you are being abducted during the wee hours of the night. Maybe you feel as if some people around you aren’t people at all, and that they’re trying to manipulate you.

But who do you go to when you have these unfounded fears?

Do you go to other people who will either doubt or your laugh at you? Or do you go to the imposters who are directly or indirectly causing you harm?

Or do you go to the one source that can take you from the dregs of being a victim and turn you into a victor?

Reach Out to the Creator for Help

The Creator is the divine source and energy that sees through everything and everyone. Divine wisdom is infinite to the human faculties. Drinking from this deep well can be more beneficial and helpful for you than you imagine.

In the end, not only will you have answers you’ve long sought and solutions to complex problems, but you’ll also bask in the knowledge that you tried. You assumed responsibility, you acted, you had agency and you used that agency to ask for help.

So, ask for help right now. Reach out to the Creator directly or to spiritual healer and channeler, Karl Mollison.

The Lesser Known Truths About Dementia

anatomy of the brain

50 million people around the world suffer from dementia. In fact, every 1 in 10 people who live up to the ripe age of 65 have dementia. A degenerative neurological disease, dementia can result from long-term alcohol abuse, fluid build-up in the brain, traumatic brain injuries, or just old age.

Or so we think.

For most of us, dementia is just the gradual deterioration of the human brain that comes with the passage of time. People assume that you get dementia as you get old as a rule of the thumb.

What if we told you that isn’t true?

How Trauma Causes Dementia

According to medical science, trauma due to accidents and injuries is one of the commonest causes behind dementia. Repetitive head trauma or traumatic brain injury have been known to lead to dementia in some cases, but it also depends on which part of the brain gets damaged. Memory loss, depression, and impaired speech are among the most obvious symptoms of the condition, although they don’t necessarily develop too soon.

But can dementia be due to something else? After all, everyone who has had a traumatic injury hasn’t ended up with dementia—neither have all dementia patients, all over the world, been in accidents causing traumatic injury.

Perhaps it’s some. . .

Other Kind of Trauma

Trauma isn’t a monolith, of course. In fact, in everyday usage, we don’t think of “trauma” in terms of traumatic injury at all. We think of it in terms of a more psychological condition: something that you can feel only in your head. It doesn’t necessarily have physical symptoms—but the pain is real enough.

And repetition of this kind of trauma is equally debilitating.

What Does Trauma Feel Like?

Trauma can happen due to a number of reasons: loss of a loved one, constant anxiety, recurrent abuse, etc. While the causes might differ from person to person, what doesn’t differ are the symptoms and stages of traumatic development, some of which include:

  • Fatigue
  • Anxiety
  • Flashbacks
  • Nightmares
  • Depression
  • Sleep disorders
  • Emotional avoidance

Trauma might feel like many things, but never nice. It feels like your head is a pressure cooker and all you want is escape.

Dementia as an Escape

Although it might not strike you at first, but dementia is an escape. It gives you the gift of forgetting. Forget all the bad that’s ever happened to you—all the bad and ugly in this world. It is truly a blessing for people who want nothing more than just to forget. Dementia offers them an unusual but certain escape from the dark pits of their mind and memory. It’s liberating for some people.

Why Socialism is Designed to Fail in a Human Society

One sometimes gets the impression that the mere words ‘Socialism’ and ‘Communism’ draw towards them with magnetic force every fruit-juice drinker, nudist, sandal-wearer, sex-maniac, Quaker, ‘Nature Cure’ quack, pacifist, and feminist in England.

So said George Orwell—a socialist, mind you—in The Road to Wigan Pier.

What exactly was George Orwell trying to say here? Was he a misogynist? Some have made that claim, although it is perfectly laughable. In the same text, it says that Orwell has made a mockery of the middle-class socialist whose hypocrisy he critiques in their inherent, deep-set animosity for the working-class and yet at the same time desiring to be seen as one with the working-class. When a socialist himself begins to point out problems with an ideology he himself subscribes to, you know there’s going to be so much more.

The Big Question: Are Socialism and Communism the Same?

These two ideologies are often used interchangeably, and treated as such. They are similar in the sense that both philosophies are pertaining to economy. Both vouch for public ownership of goods as opposed to private ownership. Both philosophies emphasize the creation of a human society that is more equal and devoid of class-based distinctions.

The difference lies wherein democracy enters the equation: socialism is more compatible with a democratic form of a government as opposed to communism, which almost always leads to authoritarian regimes. The latter has all of history standing behind it—as well as George Orwell’s works. If you have read Orwell’s 1984, it shouldn’t be too difficult to visualize how a society that operates on forced equalities and no allowance of basic liberties works.

Democratic socialism allows for public interference and some private enterprise as opposed to communism which is an extremely political ideology. We’d try explaining why it would almost always fail, but we think another socialist telling you the same would hold more weight.

It’s over to comrade Orwell to prove a point now.

How Orwell Showed Communism Fails

Orwell, himself a devoted socialist, wrote critique upon critique disguised as fiction in two now-famous and then-banned novels: 1984 and Animal Farm. Both depict the creation of “perfect” and “equal” societies which aren’t exactly so perfect at all. Orwell observed, rightly, that Communist parties and governments tend to act like the alt-right as soon as they assume power: they assume absolute control over not just people’s actions but their beliefs and ideologies, their lives and learning, and so on.

Animal Farm

In Animal Farm, a bunch of farm animals rebel against their human owners, because they would rather govern themselves. Once they throw out the humans and assume an “equality” among all animals, things quickly go south and back to the old normal, with certain animals having become the new humans in this situation. It’s almost like the French Revolution but with pigs.

1984

In 1984, we see the continent of Oceania and a political party only known as “the party” in action. We follow the life and trials of Winston Smith—a “low-ranking” party member—as he is disillusioned. But 1984, unlike The Matrix, has no happy endings. Winston Smith is no Neo.

In Oceania, the “party” controls everything: all the means of production, all the production, all the people’s lives, clothes, marriages, language, and even their thoughts. Oceania has a constant imagined enemy, re-writes history in the Ministry of Truth, and cracks down on dissent. We realize, by the end of the story, that class-based differences and oppression is just as real in a pretend-socialist world—only the comrades pretend it isn’t.

People will often say that Orwell was criticizing “totalitarianism” and not “socialism” or “communism”—but that’s just one way to chicken out. The truth is that Orwell satirized Stalin (Big Brother) and not Napoleon—because he saw something flawed herein. Although, to be fair, Orwell did name a pig in Animal Farm after Napoleon.

Poverty, Misery, Tyranny: The Holy Trinity of Socialism

As shown in Orwell’s greatest works and in real-life socialist democratic states (China, for one), socialism—which came with the promise of equality for all—has only ended in misery, poverty, and tyranny. Maybe the only way one could say that socialism has succeeded is in the sense that everyone is equally miserable in these kinds of governance. Sure, initially it does look like it brings prosperity—as was the background in 1984—but in the long run, socialism has a history of failing. Cuba and Vietnam are socialist democracies with none the better to show for economic prosperity. China, which is an economic giant, is famously known to be tyrannical towards its Uighur population.

The Tragedy of the Commons

In the 16ht Century, a quasi-socialist experiment in Britain ended rather horridly, which only proves how flawed socialism as a philosophy really is. It is, as the name suggests, a tragedy of the commons: every individual has the right to consume or use resources—at the expense of every other individual. So, let’s say a shepherd owns a certain area of land. He will have to allow everyone else to graze their sheep on the same path of land—and soon, all will suffer because humans will always act out of self-interest when presented with such a liberty. Resources will eventually be depleted. Every individual who did not need to graze sheep is harming every other individual who did need that.

Personal gains take precedence over the wellbeing of the society. In short, in a society, either socialism can prevail—or the society can.

The Bottom Line: Can a Socialist System Work in Our Society?

Sadly, we think not. There’s only one problem with socialism, and it’s this: it’s too perfect. On paper, that is. A socialist government is idealistic to say the least: equality for everyone, no questions asked and no demands made? That sounds too good to be true. Which is exactly why it isn’t true.

Human societies have always been fragmented and differentiated for a reason: humans are inherently and infinitely selfish. Call it an evolutionary feat, if you will, but it’s true. Our selfishness turns us into beings who prioritize furthering and preserving self-interests over all other things.

One of the things we always seem to forget is that no human society of government—even if it’s self-government—can ever be formed without the sham that we call politics. And politics is almost always vested in self-interest. The political class, all over the world, has always lived in relative luxury—especially in the societies where socialism is enforced.

It is massively naïve to expect that when you open all resources to everyone, humans will take only what they need. Human self-interest trumps all—thousands of years of coexistence and history books ought to have taught us that by now.

Socialism cannot prevail because it is too perfect on paper—because it expects the best from people on paper. History and the daily newspapers tell us how terrible a thought that is.

People will always crave power and luxury—just because they’re wearing red caps and have paintings of Marx in their lavish bungalows does not mean they’re any better than the capitalist business tycoons you hate. What matters is not the Marx painting—but the lavish bungalow.

We are not saying, by any means, that Marx was an economic determinist, nor saying that his position is not defensible. All we’re saying is the man was an idealist and believed in people—appealed to the good in people. That is usually the biggest mistake anyone can make.

Are the France Church Attacks Part of Something Bigger?

The recent unrest in France and Vienna might have you all riled up and concerned for the future of the world. After all, we’re just emerging from a pandemic, do we really need additional problems such as religious wars right now?

But it sure seems we’re headed that way, right?

Increased Church Attacks in France?

Some of our users have observed and questioned the reason behind the increasing church attacks in France. People who look for finer details and hidden truths have silently observed the phenomenon that is increasing church attacks across Europe. In France in particular, attacks on Christian symbols have increased tenfold in the past years.

Our followers questioned why the media is so intent on hiding the identity of the perpetrators when breaking the news. They rightly questioned what—and why that what—was being concealed.

Unfortunately, our followers—and many of you—might be thinking that these attacks are some kind of organized human venture: something believers of one religion are carrying out against another.

a church

But people who do look at this issue in this way fail to ask many other questions—which ought to definitely be asked if you’re a logical person.

Questions Such As. . .

Are only Muslims involved in these attacks—or, to put it more succinctly: in attacks against religious places and symbols? Have we forgotten the infamous New Zealand mosque attack and the ill-fated synagogue shooting in California? Humans ought to have better memories than that. But then, Jewish right-wing elements have also attacked churches and Muslim places of worship. Hindu elements have razed mosques and Muslims have desecrated Hindu temples.

It doesn’t look like any one religion is causing sole damage to this vast world. What you fail to see is that only one religion gets all the bad rep in the media—and you know better than to trust the suited man inside your TV screen.

Is This Happening Because of the Refugees?

Don’t even let yourself think that’s the cause here. Some might want you to think that way, but if you take that route, don’t just think about it—THINK about it with a clear conscience and with logic. Most of the refugees in France are people fleeing from war-torn regions—fleeing from radical terrorists who have turned their towns into rubble. Who does it serve if the people seeking shelter here from the same terrorist ideology were to carry out similar attacks in France?

So Who is Doing it?

Two words: fringe groups. Notice how every time something like this happens, a fringe group sitting half a world away is the first to assume responsibility. In this case, ISIS. Previously, it was Al-Qaeda. At one point it was all the IRA. At some point before that it was always the Russians.

It’s like 1984 all over again—and we mean the book, not the year. Orwell gave us all the clues a century ago: there must always be an enemy.

Let’s not forget that the Vienna “Islamist” terror attack wasn’t discriminatory: the attackers attacked Muslims as well as others. The attackers didn’t care what the faith of their victims was—they were there for one purpose: spread discord. In fact, two Muslim men even stood up to them and saved some people, getting injured in the process.

All of this proves one thing: it isn’t human vs human at all.

Can the Hidden Truth be Posed as a Lie?

If you think there might be some truth to all those conspiracy theories about 9/11 or think that there’s definitely some truth to all those UFO sightings that we keep hearing about, you’ve got it right. Maybe not all of what you’ve heard is true—people not knowing the truth misinform one another all the time anyway—but there’s definitely some truth to some of it.

For there’s always some fact in fiction—there’s always a modicum of truth in a morsel of lie.

And sometimes, the truth overpowers the untruth—but does not outshine it, and in doing so fails to bask you with its beacon light that ought to beckon to you to the end of the tunnel.

History’s Biggest Lies—That Were Actually Truths

Hold your horses now—because you’re going to hear some crazy conspiracy theories—all of which have one thing in common: they weren’t really conspiracy theories. They were all true—truths hidden as crazy lies.

Project Sunshine

nuclear explosion

Sometime before Hiroshima happened, there were strange whispers in the air—whispers that had to do with dead bodies being stolen for radiation testing. Some said deceased children were specially preferred—because the government needed young tissue. People scoffed and laughed it off. After all, how could the government be so un-government-like?

And it had an ironically sunny name, too: Project Sunshine.

Mind Control

Well, hello, Edward Cullen and Magneto fans—because mind control is real. But of course, people laugh at the prospect. People laughed when some suggested that the government—or maybe something far more nefarious such as an extraterrestrial mercenary army—was controlling our minds.

When there were whispers about a certain CIA Project MK-ULTRA, people laughed even harder. Well, no one’s laughing now.

Government Spies

James Bond was a hero on-screen (on a side note, RIP, Sir Sean Connery, the OG 007!), but when faced with the idea of being spied on by the people you helped reach the parliament, people laugh. Pfft, of course it can’t be true—we chose these representatives, right?

Wrong. Snowden proved that.

What You Can Do to Unveil Hidden Truths

Sometimes, the truth is right in front of you—but it is designed to be so outrageous, so egregious that you can’t just take it at face value. You risk being mocked for subscribing to a certain belief system—something which oughtn’t be mocked. You fear being an outcast because you don’t conform to the mainstream belief that belief in a terrible idea.

And if you do feel that way—if you do fear ostracization—because you have dared to think ahead and think deep, know that you aren’t alone. We at the Get Wisdom Project are just like you: questioning, doubting, seeking. And we won’t stop until the hidden truths of this world are revealed unto us—nor until we lay their breeches bare for the world to see.

Sign up today and be a part of something big—be a soldier on the right side in this battle of truths and untruths.

All the Recent Water Discoveries You Need to Know About

There’s a memorable scene in Breaking Bad where Walter White discusses the discovery of water on Mars with Jane’s dad. It became a cult classic long before people realized its significance—that is, long before people realized that we would stumble upon that hydrogen and oxygen compound on Mars.

For some years now—thanks to space programs such as Cassini-Huygens, Juno, and the Voyagers—scientists and space-watchers have known that there is water in space. We knew that one of Saturn’s moons (Europa) had water, and we knew that Neptune had water.

And where there’s water. . .

There’s Life

But of course there’s life, even without water (and yes, life can exist without water, it just isn’t life forms that we can relate to).  We, the seekers of hidden truth and disciples of divine wisdom, have been saying it for years: such a gargantuan universe cannot exist without life in multiple layers, on multiple levels.

Well, the non-classifieds did get there eventually—because we have recently witnessed a surge in the cases of water discovery in space bodies.

Mars

an astronaut on Mars

In late September 2020, new lakes were discovered on Mars—previously undetected because these are underground lakes. Evidence that water flowed on Mars had been flowing in since 2015, and was eventually confirmed in 2018. The discovery made in 2020 just expands the possibilities of life on Mars: it has more water than we thought.

It’s often been believed that the Martian surface was once rich in water, but that it disappeared over the years. Since Mars is at a distance from Earth (it takes seven months to get to Mars from Earth), we couldn’t of course detect much at first.

But now that we have, we know that there’s more the to the red planet than scarlet sand. In fact, recent discoveries have also been made about life on Venus. 2020 has been quite the year for space discovery—and for hidden truths.

The Moon

Right in our own backyard—who’d have thought? For billions of years since the Earth came into being and developed water bodies, the moon has been tugging and pulling our oceans all the way from space. But we never imagined—not even after Apollo—that the moon could have water on its own.

A very recent discovery has proven that the moon-has-no-water theory was. . . dry. Pun intended.

October 26, 2020—that is the date NASA officially confirmed to the world that there is evidence of water on the moon. This is the first time that a space observatory has made such a claim or confirmation. The Clavius Crater is one of the moon’s largest craters that is visible from Earth—and that’s where NASA found water. We now have confirmation that the moon—at least its sunlit side—has water.

And where there’s water. . . there’s life.

Intuition vs. Anunnaki Manipulation

a sinister looking mask, signifying deception

In 44 B.C.E., a woman named Calpurnia had a terrible feeling in her gut. She felt it over and over again. She had terrible dreams about the death of her husband. Her husband—like most husbands—dismissed her desperate pleas, and went off anyway. And he met his death, just like Calpurnia had foreseen and forefelt. If only Julius Caesar had listened to his wife…

Calpurnia isn’t the only one who has ever felt such a foreboding feeling. We’ve all felt it at one time or the other. But how does one determine which one’s a gut feeling and which one isn’t?

Gut Feelings

Technically speaking, the only gut feeling that ought to be called a gut feeling is hunger. We, however, mean something completely different when we say we have a “gut feeling about something.” As a matter of fact, gut feeling is a pretty good name for the term, as the lining of your gut is enveloped entirely by sensitive nerve endings.

These feelings first arose in ancient humans—the stone age variety. In those days, our ancestors could “sense” danger before seeing it—thanks to the gut feeling. The nerves inside the human gut tap into all kinds of sensory information they’re receiving: fear, anxiety, apprehension. It tells you something isn’t right.

The Physical Onset of Intuition

silhouette of an alien

Luckily for us humans, gut feelings and intuition are always accompanied by a physical response. That makes it easier to discern them. After all, the nerves inside your gut are reacting to a stressful trigger. A knot in the gut, feeling tightness in the chest or abdominal region are usually good indicators of a gut feeling that is genuine.

When people say they feel like they were “sinking,” they aren’t actually lying—because it does feel that way.

False Intuition

The American Psychological Association opines that intuition can often misfire. At other times, you mistake a particular feeling for intuition, such as:

  • Desire
  • Anxiety
  • Hope
  • Fear infatuation
  • Insecurity
  • Confirmation bias

But that isn’t all. Sometimes, you feel like you have a gut feeling, and you’re inclined to believe it and act in a certain manner—but this time, the gut feeling is without its accompanying physical symptoms.

That’s your first and biggest red flag right there: no physical symptoms. No tightness in the chest, no sinking feeling, no abdominal knots—just a suspicious voice in your head telling you this is a gut feeling, and that you should listen to it.

If your gut feeling isn’t coming from the gut, it’s definitely not gut feeling.

Is it Manipulation?

If a voice has suddenly emerged in your head and is telling you to do things, you might want to get that voice checked. It definitely isn’t a gut feeling. There are forces out there, in the vast darkness of interstellar space, that can tap easily into the human mind. And once they’re in, it’s like they’re transmitting coded commands over radio. You’re the receiver—but you shouldn’t be receptive.

This is the time to take the red pill.

Navigating False Channeling

An abstract depiction of a brain and heart’s symbolic connection

As channeling takes hold in conversations happening online and offline, it’s become a sad fact that above 90% of the channelers that claim to be true communicators are mostly false ones. It’s not even entirely their fault, since extraterrestrial mind control can be so hard to spot and get rid of.

However, if you’re a novice channeler and you feel like there’s something off about the communication you’re receiving, you should stop and take stock with the help of a senior and experienced channeler.

Here are some key starting points for you to explore.

Trust Your Intuition

When you communicate with The Creator or an angel, the information is coming from the most knowledgeable source in the universe. Even if the information seems contradictory, it will prove to work out or be in line with a basic intuition that you possess.

However, extraterrestrials will try to convince you that their communication is channeled wisdom. In that case, your gut feeling may be telling you that this information doesn’t seem to be working as well.

That could be your inner self telling you something or The Creator making brief contact to help you identify false channeling.

Self-Correct and Question Yourself

Just like any scientifically grounded method, it’s important not to suspend your senses too much to the point that you stop questioning what you receive from higher beings. When you ask questions from The Creator, you will receive an answer at some point, in some way.

However, Annunaki psychics will struggle with maintaining a ruse that is constantly being questioned. That is your chance to identify and break free from their control.

Don’t Rush Your Channeling Education

The biggest challenge with divine channeling is figuring out how to maintain a clear connection with a reliable source. During the learning process, novice channelers may struggle with establishing a clear connection, which may lead them to establish one with a dark being.

That’s why the learning curve of a channeler must be slow and steady. There are lessons that one can only learn from practice and slow observation. By trying to speed up that process, a channeler is handing themselves on a plate to the dark beings.

A woman sits on a rock near a beach introspecting and meditating

Understand and Negotiate Your Emotions

Sometimes, vulnerability to darkness is the ultimate flaw for a channeler. Without going through emotional introspection or advanced energy treatment, channelers leave their emotions open for manipulation.

As humans, we contain plenty of potential for darkness and if we don’t keep that in check, then looking for enlightenment is in vain.

However, all is not lost. Ask The Creator a question or consult with Karl Mollison for divine healing services that can set you back on the right path for goodness and honesty.

The Placebo Effects of Wellbeing Practices in Their Current Form

A woman does yoga and meditation with her legs folded and arms on them.

In a world where so many people feel that something is going wrong in their lives most of the time, it’s no surprise that people are looking for enlightenment that will resolve their issues. However, one trend that seems to be taking over these days is wellbeing.

Wellbeing lifestyles, food, activities and practices have become buzzwords for lost individuals to grab on to for some kind of direction in life. However, while wellbeing practices aren’t bad for humans, they often obstruct the path that a person has to take to discover the universe’s truth for themselves.

What Wellbeing Practices Look Like

Wellbeing is a term that originates from recent developments in the mental health field, to denote actions that people can take to holistically improve their lives. This means improving one’s fitness level, how they communicate, adding a meditation ritual and more.

Supposedly, these practices improve tiny aspects of one’s life making the experience of existence much more bearable than previously. Wellbeing can also look like reciting and upholding affirmations or taking a social media cleanse.

For people from the psychological or mental health field, these practices have changed how they do their job. However, for people on the right path outlined by true channelers of The Creator; these practices can be misleading and unrewarding.

A woman’s silhouette in the dark, looking up contemplatively.

Why They’re Ineffective

Even though most of these practices aren’t objectively harmful, the problem here is when we try to justify this paradigm of knowledge over the wisdom that The Creator provides us. To get on the right path, one has to take in divine channeled wisdom as it is provided to us. The principles of wellbeing don’t work well with this journey.

Instead, wellbeing and affirmations tend to obscure how we think of struggle, investigation and knowledge. If a person believes truly that mindfulness or similar methods will help them live their higher purpose; then the divine principles of living tend to be harder to comprehend and follow.

What Path Should One Take?

Instead of trying to take control and run away from feeling like you don’t know what the answer is or uncertainty about the future, one has to lean into it. Without creating a strong commitment to the search for spiritual enlightenment, you will be led astray to align with dark forces.

That’s why innocent affirmations, mindfulness, meditation or other similar practices can actually be harmful. Instead, you need to center divine teachings that have been communicated before and continue to seek out channelers that are spreading knowledge that comes from the Creator.

As a channeler himself, Karl Mollison has invested his time and energy heavily in seeking enlightenment and divine principles for living, which is why you can reach out to him to discuss your misgivings.

Grounding Yourself on the True Path

calm sunset, soothing for the spirit

Once we’ve eliminated all that is impossible, whatever remains—however improbable—must be the truth.

The aforesaid is the second-most famous line to come out of Sherlock Holmes’ fictional mouth. The first will always be “it’s elementary.”

So why have we started a blog about truth with a passage from a fictional text?

It’s because it fits. Every human being wants to align with the truth. It’s why religions are so popular—they claim to reveal the truth.

But in the face of so many truths and so many paths, how does one find the right one?

It’s elementary: we eliminate the impossible.

The Impossible and the Improbable

Let’s start with religions. You might think that after the 19th-century attack on religiosity, it would have lost some of its clout. On the contrary, religion is more popular than ever. Delving deeper shows us that almost all religions do the following:

  • Propose to reveal and stand for the truth
  • Vilify other holy scripture as falsehood

Objectively speaking, it’s a bit of a bummer. That’s where the idea of the impossible comes in.

The Road Not Taken

a text in Hebrew

Stop relying on one version of presumed truth. Unless you have explored all the paths out there, you won’t know which is the right one. People who follow one path and vilify all others—such as the character Christian in Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress—usually have a myopic world view.

Bunyan—who was a leading Puritan in his time; and was even jailed for his faith and political involvement—presents us with the protagonist (literally named) “Christian.” He is journeying toward the “Golden City”—or salvation. And his path is a “straight” one, as some angels tell him.

This idea of a “path to salvation” is one that is present in many other religions. Islam, for example (another Abrahamic religion like Christianity), also decrees a “right way.”

In Bunyan’s novel, Christian meets a fellow traveler who has come through another path—and tells him that there’s no salvation for him because he took the wrong path.

But how do we know which one’s the wrong path?

No Wrong Paths

Unlike in a computer, there are no bad gateways in the spiritual realm. Your path might be crooked or straight or rocky—and it could still lead to the same place: eternal peace with yourself.

All you have to do is abide by the divine principles of life. It’s not even that complicated—the path to salvation and peace is extremely simple and requires you to be good. To be good and nothing less—that’s the requisite. It isn’t too difficult to be a decent human being—although some forces might try their best to keep you from it.

Finding the Path of Truth and Wisdom

Many of us have been walking through the wilderness of the world, looking for meaning, divinity, purpose—something bigger. Some find it through shortcuts and never explore. Others keep on looking for hidden truths.
