Does the occurrence of identical siblings serve a karmic purpose, and if so, can you give some examples?

The karmic reason for seeking an opportunity to be one of identical siblings, or all identical siblings, being extensions of the self from the soul level, does serve karmic needs. This is always the most important factor because karma, being such a powerful force, must be reckoned with and it is of the highest priority to do all one can to satisfy pre-existing karma before wanting to undertake new obligations. There are often compromises made to attempt accomplishing both. The experience of being one of a pair, or greater number, of identical siblings from one’s own soul can serve to create situations of competition and an experiencing of being present with another within a family but in a safe way where there is a great deal of similarity in terms of both personality and interests. This can be a safe way to deal with the issue of sharing and the stresses of competition with others because there will be a great affinity from the beginning. So, this is an ideal way to do some self-healing for such issues because there will be an ideally friendly sibling rivalry going on and this will increase the likelihood that healing takes place, following extreme lifetimes experiencing warring souls that battle one another. The healing can be done through this means rather than risk adding more to the negative karmic legacy by bringing the warring parties back together yet again. So, this is one example of the utility in serving karma through twinning of the soul. When it is safe enough to do so, there can be an acceleration of healing to bring in competing souls with a karmic history together as twins because this, too, creates parity and confers a closeness of sharing that may moderate the karmic history that would project a competition and rivalry because of the past, and increase the likelihood of healing. So, sometimes this is the best solution for the problem.
