This is accurate as far as it goes but does little to further explain this etheric body. Thinking of it as a kind of consciousness at once would be accepted as something elusive, something not visible to ordinary senses because it is ephemeral, something that clearly has a power and an influence on things, but through thought, in ordinary experience, and not something that can be observed as physically present, for example. So we see these comments as more clouding the issue than providing clarity, other than to bridge the gap between Steiner and his attempts to understand his own perceptions with a more contemporary perspective we would prefer be fostered by your explorations.
