This is a somewhat lesser percentage, and has some overlap, because the two do go together. So, in most instances, those things brought from the collective unconscious that will be harmful are in response to thoughts retrieved from the akashic record, that now are in the thought plane as well, and then this, in turn, goes out to the collective unconscious and things will pile on that match or resonate with the type of dilemma that was experienced. In a small percentage of the instances, there may be a direct foray into the collective unconscious from the thoughts of a person, and then will be met with a wall of fear or other negativity, in response to an innocent query. This can happen for a number of reasons, but does occur when a person is exposed to novel circumstances, and this can include having a scary experience watching a motion picture, where something is happening on the screen and the person, by identifying with the protagonist in the film, is putting themselves in that person’s shoes and then the circumstances of the event, which may be unique and not relating to their life in particular, because of the self-identification that dilemma may bring in parallel things that have indeed been experienced by other humans. And then that emotional content will come into the person’s thought plane courtesy of that self-identification and will, in a sense, be owned by them for a time, and will have consequences in stirring things up internally.
This is true in encounters with other people, as well. When a person is attacked unfairly, even though the circumstances do not warrant the attack, and are seen in a logical, intellectual way to be an unfair characterization, that accusation or threat will go out to the collective unconscious and will pull in the emotions of many, many others treated in that way. And because the person is put into this unpleasant circumstance, they will unfairly feel the burden of many others who have experienced a similar plight, and it will make things worse. So, this can all be worked out during the dream state as a consequence of events that have taken place during the day, whether through reawakening them within the person’s akashic records, or a visit to the collective unconscious triggered in some way. What they go to sleep with in their thought plane, or recount in reviewing the day's events, the connections will still be present, the other sources of negativity will still be present, and things can even be amplified during a dream to continue the query. So, there may be additional things streaming in to add weight to the dilemma. And this is why dreams are often intolerable to people because the build-up of negativity can be so very great in those who are fragile or already deeply wounded. They may reach a tipping point and may have a severe emotional reaction requiring medical attention in some way to give them assistance, to prevent a devastating breakdown of some kind. While this will not likely happen during the night from dreams and nightmares alone, they add fuel to the fire and keep the agendas on the front burner, so to speak. When the person awakens, the subconscious may continue its ruminations and then, it will color the day's experience and make it darker in a corresponding fashion and this becomes a downward spiral that can cause more and more difficulty that is similar in some respects with a pile-up of external negativity from the respective repositories—the unconscious collective, and the akashic records, both.
