This is incorrect information being promulgated to, in effect, minimize the sacrifice represented by the suffering of Jesus at the hands of his tormentors. Human beings in the physical, and that included Jesus Christ as well, cannot simply leave the body at will. There are ways one can train one's mind to dissociate and disconnect from bodily sensations, but that is an abnormal state of being and not something people can do at will as in preparation for hard times ahead, expecting they might be subjected to torture, for example. Through using the intuitive gateway, people can travel out of body, but that requires a quite calm state of mind to induce the level of consciousness needed for the exercise, and it is not likely to happen while one is so heavily distracted by intense physical suffering from being tortured as Christ was. That is why this is not only improbable, but a kind of corruption of thinking to deflect the importance of being confronted by evil, and the dire circumstances that result in giving the simple-minded reassurance that one can simply leave their body at will after all, so it hardly matters if such things happen, when the opposite is the case—any kind of physical torture is a threat to existence.
