I was outside on my patio, working on an upcoming radio show about the anatomy of prayer, and feeling quite annoyed at a neighbor playing pop music with a shrieking, repetitive vocal, as has happened before. They never play anything I like. After a brief silence, I heard Carole King’s recording of “You’ve Got a Friend” which was made almost 50 years ago. While I loved that recording at the time, it seemed like a quite improbable promise—having a friend who might be far away, but who would drop everything and come to your side whenever you called their name, “winter, spring, summer or fall, all you’ve gotta do is call, and I’ll be there, yes I will, you’ve got a friend.” I was now deeply moved as it made me think about Creator loving and cherishing all of us, and always being available. Was this circumstance a message from you?

All of these insights are true and accurately perceived intuitively. You were indeed annoyed by the pop music polluting the environment when you were simply wanting to be enjoying the out of doors and doing your work on behalf of GetWisdom without distractions and the highly annoying repetitiveness of the pop songs that were playing. And then, when that beautiful song, You’ve Got a Friend, started playing suddenly, you were struck by it in being such a contrast, and mesmerized, thinking quite strongly that this must be a message to you of some kind from Creator because the lyrics so perfectly describe Creator’s relationship to physical humans who are in a divine partnership such that they can call on us whenever they have a need and, indeed, we will honor them by always showing up to be with them, to do what we can to encourage, inspire, uplift, or perhaps heal and protect, as the case might be. We can tell you this was arranged to happen for your benefit, knowing you would be attentive and would get the message intended as an outreach to you and a kind of reward for the difficult role you play as divine prophet, and working as you do to save and heal humanity and the interlopers threatening the entire enterprise taking place within your galaxy. This is a tremendous responsibility and burden you carry, so it is little enough we can do from our end of things to say "hello" at an unexpected moment, to give you a pat on the back, and to share with you that our message has been expressed for many years now, as a deliberate outreach to humanity through that songwriter and performer and is still played today. We arranged for it to be in the musical lineup you would hear and you have asked us about this phenomenon before and been told that it happens for many people in a similar way who have ears to hear, so they will get the message that the divine is reaching out to them. We do many things to help lubricate the gears of the human enterprise underway and we look forward to doing much more as you awaken your fellow humans to reach out to us and make their wishes known about the future of humanity, to solve the problem of evil and save you from a dark fate.
