Do the karmic energies of the akashic records radiate out through the DNA or directly into body energy or both?

Both are influenced because both are important for regulation of things. The DNA is repository of instructions and information about the physical body and is shaped by the akashic records. The energetics coming directly and impinging on the body are a faster moving component and have differing roles, so both play a part in determining what happens in the moment.
