He indeed is a good candidate for this. His addictive behavior that is carrying over into his issue of weight control contains within it some inner roadblocks of his own creation, in attempts to defend himself from outside manipulation, those negative beliefs and trauma events he retreats from keep him on high alert and in a state of discomfort. And that triggers the self-soothing strategies of addiction. It is a very common human foible but when it reaches unhealthy levels of indulgence, is a liability for long-term survival at some point. So we think this is something that would benefit, from as few as several sessions, to give him a fighting chance to turn this around, and very worth doing.
