You will be delighted to hear that he is now free of Herpes at long last. This should remain the case going forward now, unless he encounters a sexual partner who reinfects him. There may be some residual cellular memory creating some mild discomfort, and he may contact you about this, so be prepared for that eventuality, to give him reassurance that it will fade over time, and he will see this play out as his episodes disappear with no reoccurrence of any hint of infection. So you are to be congratulated for your diligence in seeing to this.
