Unfortunately, your concern and your worst fears are justified in this instance. This was used as an opportunity to extinguish these human beings as they are viewed as expendable by society and therefore can be killed with impunity by the Extraterrestrial Alliance with no one caring, and that was done through clandestine means, through the Mercenary Army Program carrying out a "cleansing," as it were. They are pressuring humanity on all fronts with health liabilities, hazards contaminating the environment people are unavoidably exposed to, biowarfare, as well as engineered natural-seeming disasters and destructive energies that shorten lifespan, inhibit fertility, and on and on.
