She is definitely a person of interest, and those were alien Greys visiting her when she was a teenager. This was quite sinister as their interest in humans is solely to exploit or diminish them. So to them, a human who they consider to be special means only they are a useful guinea pig in some respect and will be of material value, much as a commodity to exploit for their own purposes.
