This as well is a classic indicator of karmic issues arising in a setting where there is a basic need for survival and the possible competition offered by another creature in the immediate vicinity. Dogs will test one another to see what they can get away with in taking food, so there is an instinctive drive to protect one’s possessions, especially food because this has survival value. This is usually subordinated within the canine to a significant degree in deference to the pack leader, an alpha male of superior status and dominance within a group. Normally, the canines will defer to the humans in their environment, in particular the one perceived as the pack leader, and will suppress behavior that could be seen as confrontational or aggressive.
When that does not happen, it is because there are mixed emotions being felt because of prior human betrayal that is being stirred up and the subconscious of the animal is worrying about being neglected once again, and this triggers a survival instinct to protect its own welfare and it happens quickly without much conscious choice involved, but it is stemming from an inner wound that keeps the issue on the front burner, so to speak, and the animal simply cannot help its own instincts coming to the fore. This is the kind of thing that can be healed with karmic repair through the Lightworker Healing Protocol because it is a consequence of wounding having happened in the past, shaping the behavior in the current life and the general happiness and wellbeing of the animal. To heal it is a blessing for both the dog and his human companion.
