You have asked and answered this nicely. In making a prayer request, you can ask for anything literally. That does not mean it will be granted. Indeed, if you ask us to go against the free will of one layer of a person’s mind, we simply will not act on the request, so it is a moot point. For the reasons you have outlined here, there is no reason to get fancy, so to speak, about making this request. The divine realm will have full latitude from the description given in the prayer request because it does not restrict it to perception by the waking state of the mind, so there can be instances where the deep subconscious alone receives inspiration in this way. There can also be situations where the deep subconscious might transfer the awareness of the impression to the upper subconscious during the dream state and allow a recall if wakening occurs shortly thereafter. In most instances, there will only be a conscious awareness of what was dreamed about and seen in the way of inspiring visions if the messages are given to the upper subconscious during the dream time and then the person awakened abruptly and often with an impulsed desire to hang on to the awareness in the moment so the dream will be recalled later. The prayer request works just fine as is because it allows all that is needed to happen.
