DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaMy client has been ill for many years following an Epstein-Barr virus infection, with subsequent heart and lung problems. She is now very afraid of having any healers work on her because of bad experiences in the past, including ER visits in the aftermath. She is on the diet regime recommended by Anthony William but without perceptible benefit. What can be done to help her and what encouragement can you give her about finding a path to healing?

This is an extremely difficult situation and a delicate matter. She has become her own worst enemy because of the depth of her fear. On one level it is understandable, but fear does not benefit anyone beyond creating the awareness of threat. If the fear is such it blocks taking effective action to alleviate a situation that is looming, the fear is not only pointless but destructive. That is the case here. There is nothing she faces that she inherently cannot handle. It is the exaggerated fear of what will happen to her and how unpleasant it might be that has her on her guard to such an extent she has become immobilized and afraid to act. As you would expect, this leaves her entirely on her own in circumstances where she can make little progress by herself. She needs outside help and she needs a strong advocate to support an outreach to the divine on her behalf. It is not that she lacks belief, it is that her fear that she must not be perturbed in any way so as to unleash a cascade of torment that is putting a fence around her. You envisioned a clear path to healing for her through her own devices so it would be under her own control and enacted at her own pace. She can reach out to the divine with thoughtful prayer requests to have these circumstances alleviated and to have broad and deep healing done bit by bit in ways that she can tolerate that will not make her vulnerable, and by establishing these criteria she can both invite a benefit and maintain her stability and keep herself protected from adverse consequences. This would be an excellent way for her to start, so some coaching on useful wording to consider would help her establish a concrete plan that will achieve benefits and allow a process to resume that she can build on and bring about a gradual but steady progress to improve her situation.
