A viewer asks: “Is having karmic debt where this feeling of entitlement actually stems from in most cases, which appears unearned and inequitable? The entitlement is actually real, and earned, but was done so in a past life and denied, and so, therefore, is still owed and the debt consciousness actually manifests as actual expectation and entitlement emotion in people— towards people and things that outwardly appear to have no actual connection?”

This indeed is a common dynamic because karma, as a force, is ever-present and will intrude again, and again, and again during the lifetime and will be a force to reckon with and will create many complications that must be dealt with. Many circumstances arise where choices are made that seem inexplicable or excessive, and this is often due to the workings of karma that are unappreciated. Where people feel a sense of entitlement, they may be with someone who has harmed them grievously in the past and owe them a great debt, and that might be righted in the current life and seem to be the reverse situation where the winner in the exchange was a formerly aggrieved party, but are getting their restitution, and the former perpetrator has a comeuppance and experiences a loss, so the shoe is on the other foot and they will have a taste of their own medicine, so to speak. So karma is often the hidden force operating behind the scenes to bring about a rebalancing of things or an opportunity to do so that might end in failure, but certainly creates drama in the moment and adds to its legacy. Much of what humans do with their time and energy is serving the imperatives of karma. Everything about life in the earth plane is about survival, about learning, growth, deployment of energy, learning to get along with others, striving for betterment, and living with the consequences of whatever outcomes can be arranged to happen. Everything that takes place along the way creates a karmic potential for better or for worse. That adds to the mix each go‑round in life in new incarnations, where the failings of the past will be revisited to challenge the person yet again and they will be put to the test to see, will they do better? Will they surmount the difficulty? Will they find a path to healing and escape this cycle of karmic repayment that can diminish and hold them back over and over again until it is healed? These are the lessons of life and the tests determining how much you progress and where you are in your soul journey to enlightenment.
