We would say you are seeing the problem somewhat upside down here. It is not that depravity is truly a reward for the fallen. It is all they have. It is a sorry substitute for love, but it is love they lack and, in its absence, there is only the glory of the self because anything beyond the self has little meaning other than what can be incorporated and taken in and used to serve the self in some way. When there is no value in others, one is isolated and alone. This is not how humans are designed to be or to live. The entire purpose of creation is the giving and receiving of love. When that exchange is absent, the existence is shallow and limited as a consequence. Anything the fallen angelics experience they would view as fun or an accomplishment because it takes something away from a victim, is an empty victory because it is hollow in its meaning, and only a compensation for the love force that makes babies thrive and ready for anything, and is the future of humanity in spreading divine love in new ways with many new and novel enterprises for deploying love for high purpose and attainment. This is the true meaning of enlightenment. It could be termed "enlovingment" in the sense of both giving and receiving, bestowing it and bathing in it personally—that is the highest level of expression of the soul that can be achieved. It is a question of where, when, to what extent, and with what portion of one’s energy? This is why divine love is so very beyond your ability to appreciate because you are so weakened energetically you cannot encompass an awareness of love on such a massive scale. You could not contain it within your energy, but it is truly cosmic when you think in very earthly ways in making comparisons. The best you can do is talking about the difference between chemical bombs and nuclear weapons, with the tremendously greater energy of the latter. The energetic difference between your capacity for love and that of Creator is a far greater multiple than the human example we just considered. That is a love you can approach in time personally, with the potential of your soul being a part of the divine to begin with, it has such potential within. Your challenge is to unlock this potential and to see it flourish.
