In a recent channeling with Zechariah Sitchen in the light, he commented that the Anunnaki were involved with inspiring groups of Satanic worshipers and went down that path long before existence of the human community. Was the idea of Satan as an all powerful dark being, a false notion inspired by spirit meddler possession of the Anunnaki?

This, in fact, is true and is a good example of how religion has been corrupted through the ages to instill negative elements that will cause consternation, conflict, and guilt among the followers as the doctrine will go against their own inclinations and even against human nature as a whole in some cases. This is always a goal of the interlopers to confuse and confound and complicate. They know the emotional toll will be ongoing and enjoy making people suffer.
