Why did this spirit voice plague him even when he begged it to stop, and prayed to God that it would? Wasn’t that a violation of free will?

In a sense, this was a violation and, in a sense, it was not. What was truly happening here was that this was a reaction out of fear coming from his deep subconscious—that of his child self. He was being reassured and propelled forward through continued suggestions and support from his higher self nonetheless. In addition, there was a part of his deep subconscious seeing the akashic records and knowing more clearly his divine mission and purpose for the current incarnation that was receptive and wanting the information to come forth. So, in a sense, he was being overruled by one part of himself, so you are hearing the history of his conscious mind and what it experienced as a child growing up with this unusual manifestation. It was indeed distracting, inexplicable, and a nuisance, and caused as much consternation and fear as any benefit. You know full well that knowing profound truths about things does not immediately give you a benefit. It is almost always a liability in sharing it with others because they will not understand how it can be and will be deeply suspicious or even fearful of such powers on display and will most likely reject the authenticity and adopt some trivial explanation that may well impart a sinister motive on the part of the intuitive aware of information through a paranormal source. That was the case for him but he was overruled by a higher part of his being and that was given priority by the divine realm in allowing things to go forward despite his inner naysayer acting through fear.
