A client asks about help to separate from a woman in his life: “This woman vampirizes me in such a way that I cannot invest myself in other areas of my life – she’s become basically an expert in hooking me in, like a part of her daily practices, whose influence I perceive all over my chest and often in my head; I’m even having to take sleeping pills because the being seems to get desperate without me being there, so it needs me constantly awake.” Is this an accurate perception? What is causing this dynamic and how can we best help him?

While on its face this seems to be a hallucination and would certainly be judged so by the psychologists, we can tell you that he is having an accurate perception of a major psychic attack perpetrated by this woman and that is what is being felt as an intrusive energy within his being. It is an accurate perception on all counts. The reason for this is karmic, due to a long-standing relationship between these two going back into other lifetimes where there was a similar control issue taking place. This is a true possession underway done through jealousy and desperate inner need by someone who has inner conflicts of a major sort. They are karmic and aided and abetted by spirit attachments to worsen things. So this is a case of a narcissistic person who feels quite empty because of her inability to love, but yet has a need for love, and will manipulate others to pay attention to her in a desperate attempt to fill this inner void that cannot be filled by other people—it is a void of her own making through her disconnection. It is like someone using food to soothe themselves, but no amount of calories can fill an emotional void within the person. This needs Protocol work on the both of them to remove all spirit attachments as well as do healing of the karmic underpinnings fueling the obsession going on to keep this need for power and control at a lower level. It will be difficult because of the issue of habit with this having developed over a long span of time trailing from life to life and then learned and embraced fervently in the current lifetime. This is no different than other serious issues that are deeply wanted on some level of the being and have a karmic backing that compels the issue to come forth in a powerful way because that is what is on record and becomes the springboard for a new go-round. That is never a reason to ignore a problem, but only stating clearly and as objectively as we can not only the stakes involved, but the challenge it represents due to long-standing continued fueling coupled with a neglect of doing healing work.
