So there would be a continued presence of mismatched karma and consequential links from recipient back to the donor if the transplanted material is not autologous in origin. So the details here would depend on the cellular matter and its point of origin. If there is any remaining DNA that is non-self, there will be a karmic entanglement with adverse consequences.
