The issue of awareness of one’s karmic history is complex, but it is indeed the case that oftentimes less is more when it involves past episodes of personal failure or horrendous circumstances that may trigger great fear. Keep in mind most people do not have an effective way to fully heal the trauma generating negative karma, so to bring this into conscious awareness puts a spotlight on it and causes the subconscious to seek out further details from the akashic records, and it will likely be quite disturbed by what it sees and will put two and two together and generate much inner torment from worrying about a reoccurrence. This, of course, is not only unhelpful, it may well result in a worsening of things and stir up new trouble.
This is why we have advised you, again and again, to share details of prior life trauma quite sparingly with your clients. Even when healing is being done as a part of the exploration, human consciousness can recreate the problem, so the healing can be undone by refocusing attention and tuning into all that the episode represents energetically and this can, in effect, re-traumatize the person and send them back into the prior state of discord from the original wounding. Certainly, an emotional recoil or a reaction that causes assignment of blame to the self or others compounds the emotional intensity and creates additional karmic interplay among the wounded parties. This too worsens things and strengthens unhealthy cordings that are better left alone in most cases unless there is a way to heal this immediately, and that rarely happens.
Most people learn about their past via psychic readings with no healing being done at the same time to truly help the person. So it is always a missed opportunity and to let sleeping dogs lie is often sound advice. This is particularly true because, with a tool like the Lightworker Healing Protocol, karmic repair can be requested. It is quite effective but does not require knowing all the gory details of what might be needed, by empowering the divine realm to be the bloodhound and seek out the dark history and heal it without further wounding the tender sensibilities of the client, and this is an ideal approach for that reason.
