DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaA viewer asks: “Can investing in certain stocks have negative karmic consequences to oneself by way of funding negative things happening? What can Creator tell us?”

Everything has karmic implications and that is true of investment choices, the reasons they are made, and what they are tied to in terms of ultimate consequences, through the use of your money as a form of energy in supporting something that might be causing harm in some way. Human beings are conditioned through corruption to favor doing something that is self-serving because the culture encourages self-indulgence and insensitivity to the plight of others. That does not mean you need to live a life of self-sacrifice and poverty by giving away anything you earn. There is a happy medium. You will be in a better position to be charitable if you are well off than if you are struggling from paycheck to paycheck and can barely feed your family. That said, the Law of Karma is dispassionate and relentless in assigning responsibility to everything you do and everything you do not do which you could, and that includes how you invest your money and what that money is used for and the consequences that ensue. Many people, for this reason, avoid investing in the arms industry or tobacco because of the harm they encourage through their products. But there are many, many, nuances and fine points here, and these will not be overlooked by the Law of Karma. This simply reinforces the general principle that what is important is to live as best you can in divine alignment as the goal, and not do just what will make you the most wealthy person possible.
