There are many unpleasant things currently in motion as part of a widespread extraterrestrial menacing of human culture. Those things will fade away upon alien withdrawal but we are not quite there yet. We cannot give an all-clear signal on something like this unless we are also certain, and the future is still in flux with respect to finalizing things on the part of the extraterrestrials and the timing for that to play out.
