There are, in fact, many reasons this can happen. The first consideration, and obvious one from a human perspective, is that human beings vary greatly in their intelligence, knowledge base, life experience, level of sophistication, and maturity, all of which enable people to develop discernment, greater wisdom, better judgment, and a more effective way of perceiving the world around them. And having learned from the hard knocks of life what not to do, they are in a better position to make good decisions than youngsters moving into adulthood who have not yet been tested, in many cases, not having been on their own and grappled with the consequences of errors that are quite consequential. The second layer of influence comes from human beings who move into positions of leadership inappropriately. Sometimes this is because they are the more assertive ones, with a brash personality and may have leadership instincts as part of their makeup, but their seasoning is not yet in place as they move into positions of would-be authority on some level, and then perform badly because they do have shortcomings. And when people put their faith and trust in faulty leadership they are like the lemmings rushing to the edge of the cliff, following the leader blindly, and may well perish as a consequence.
Poor leadership can also come from individuals who have a faulty makeup. This is well‑known, that people with character flaws and defects often rise to the top in organizations because they are ruthless. Not having qualms about harming others, they will play politics in a heartless way to campaign for their advancement at the expense of others, and they might actively sabotage the chances of competitors by stabbing them in the back, so to speak, much like hardened criminals in all walks of life who think only of themselves and are quick to take advantage of others if it has a personal benefit. When people become enamored of such an individual, perhaps admiring their strength and seeming capabilities and success, they may become ensnared in wrongdoing and pay a collective price for their falsely placed trust. The one level beyond this is the level of the interlopers who are truly running the world, the cabal of extraterrestrial civilizations, the three major ones forming the Dark Extraterrestrial Alliance. They are sabotaging human culture on a continual basis and that is taking a heavy toll on things to present false ideas, false promises, and false hopes, based on perverted thinking to begin with, designed to slip in under the radar, so to speak, and be embraced for a time only to find out, perhaps years later, it has been a false path all along that has been leading to tragic consequences and it might be too late to forestall devastating events that are built into the false direction humans were manipulated to follow.
So this broad panorama of wrongdoing, wrongheaded thinking, and, as a consequence, unpleasant and even destructive outcomes is a quite serious problem. Because it is comprised of so many individual actions and reactions it is assumed to just be the way things are, an inevitable part of life, and simply illustrating the need for good education and watchdogs of various kinds to look for deliberate wrongdoing, and also to serve as checks and balances on decision-making on the part of governments and various institutions whose policies and principles are followed in running society. The problem here is not that the need for this is unappreciated but it, too, becomes faulty through corruption and limits the effectiveness of self-regulation on the part of humanity.
