DWQA QuestionsCategory: Animal IssuesA viewer asks: “Are supplements made for humans safe and beneficial for animals? For example, Curcumitol-q for inflammation or Heal-n-Soothe for joint pain, collagen, etc?” What is Creator’s perspective?

Those supplements designed to address physiological derangement in the form of physical maladies known to produce symptoms of inflammation, for example, degradation of joints, and so on, may benefit from the same kinds of supplements that help humans with such maladies, so that is a different matter than considering nutrition, strictly. So the examples you mention could well have a parallel benefit for pets. Such things have little testing done in animals, so it is not possible to know for certain about safety. It is not likely they would be dangerous, but there can be exceptions as is true of some foods that are toxic to animals but well-tolerated and enjoyed by humans. So you are wanting to know about a complex issue with a categorical yes or no about the aggregate of such materials and that cannot be done intelligently, there would need to be a probing on a case-by-case basis.
