The key will be whether she will be in a sufficient state of allowing that your advocacy will compensate sufficiently for her great fear and grave doubts about her ability to survive the ordeal she faces. We think you will get her through this in spite of her fears and doubts, so we do not see this as something where you need to throw your body on the tracks to stop her from fully following her medical advice she is given.
