Can you tell us what Jesus’ original Lord’s Prayer was intended to say, in today’s English for our current understanding?

This was a prayer to the Almighty intended to be multipurpose, to convey there needed to be a regular communing with the divine along with requests for assistance to cover the major needs one faces in life as a physical human. It did, indeed, address the big picture, that you are part of an unfolding story of great significance and are dealing with adversity of all kinds to a severe degree, but the divine can help you and that is the purpose of the prayer. It recognizes that everything flows from the divine, the material as well as spiritual sustenance. It also alludes to the fact karma is the driving force, that what one does will matter and will determine your future, and that includes getting assistance with other people's karma to deflect harmful things and bring in a restoration, as well as greater protection. It was a recognition of your being part of a human family, that all are interconnected and all, in fact, are a part of Creator, who is inside you and available, always, to address your needs.
